iOS 10.2.1 is out now!

Apple’s latest update to its iOS operating system came out yesterday, and it’s iOS 10.2.1.  Now, nothing super exciting was included in this update…unless you count security fixes as exciting.

Anyway…included in this latest update (which you can do over the air, simply by going to into Settings>General>Software Update) are simple bug fixes.  One of these addresses a bug that would cause Auto Unlock to unlock even when an Apple Watch isn’t on the wearer’s wrist.  Additionally, there are hopes that this update also addressed the 30% bug, which has caused many iPhones to die when their battery is displaying 30% battery left.  That hasn’t been confirmed yet, but fingers are crossed!

Apple also went ahead and released iOS 10.3 beta 1 to developers today.  Back in December there had been whispers that this update would include a “Theater Mode”, however it’s now been confirmed to be included in the upcoming watchOS 3.2 beta that should be released soon.  I’ve stopped installing the developer betas onto my phone, since I only have the one and it’s not recommended to install on your daily driver.  However, I will do my best to keep you guys up to date on what’s going on with these latest betas released by Apple!
